The Dolly Dots: Inspiration for the Spice Girls? Seriously. Isn't that Baby Spice on the right?

The Dolly Dots were a super popular, talent-free Dutch girl band back in the late 70s and 80s. Their video for the horrible song "Rollerskating" (1979) features short-shorts, an obscene amount of fringe, and the stupidest lyrics you've ever heard. Enjoy.

My favorite thing about this whole amazingly awful video is that they have no idea how to roller skate. I mean, one of them actually falls down at :15. We are skating!
