Be Bold with Bananas is a cookbook that was made for the Banana Importers of Wellington, New Zealand, in the early 1970s. So, you're probably asking yourself, just what does being bold with bananas actually entail?

It apparently involves making literal food porn. The recipe for Banana Candles instructs you to drip mayonnaise down the sides of the bananas. Wow. I'm not sure I'm ready to be quite that bold with bananas. Oh, who am I kidding? I am totally making these for my next party.
