She's doing the bike!

"Es el Bicycle" by Alex Marco was one of those songs about a dance, like "The Jerk" or "The Watusi." It was a hit in Spain in 1966. Watch this old Scopitone to see the adorably goofy dance performed by the singer and a group of ladies in bike shorts. The Scopitone is the precursor of the music video. Scopitones were shot on 16mm film and you could watch them on jukeboxes.
