In an attempt to stymie China's exploding gerbil population, the Chinese government is feeding them contraceptive pellets. The bran-like pellets prevent pregnancy and also induce abortions. The gerbils have been accused of contributing to China's mounting desertification problems. And now they will be exterminated.

If only they would mix some abortifacient into Cracklin' Oat Bran cereal. That would be delicious and abortalicious!
